YEREVAN, April 18. \/ARKA\/. The net inflow of non-commercial money transfers to Armenia, from abroad through the Armenian banks amounted to $303 million in January-February 2026, compared to $87.5 million in January-February 2025, according to a report from the Central Bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thus, this figure increased approximately 3.5-fold year-on-year. Moreover, in February alone, net remittance inflow amounted to $133.9 million, compared to $68.8 million in February of last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The inflow of commercial money transfers to Armenia from abroad through the Armenian banks amounted to $953.5 million in January-February of this year, compared to $845.3 million in January-February of last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The leaders in money transfers to Armenia were Russia with $288.7 million and the United States with $117.7 million. Moreover, Russia and the United States also led for the 2025 reporting period ($568.5 million and $92.4 million, respectively).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the same time, the outflow of non-commercial money transfers from Armenia abroad, made through the Armenian banks in the first two months of 2026 amounted to $650.5 million, compared to $757.8 million in the same period of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
