In March, Armenia&#8217;s inflation rose to 4.5 percent (yoy) from 4.3 percent (yoy) in February, according to World Bank&#8217;s Armenia Monthly Economic Update \u2013 April 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The largest contribution continued to come from food and non-alcoholic beverages, where inflation increased 7.8 percent (yoy) and contributed about 68 percent of overall inflation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Health inflation was the second highest, rising 4.5 percent (yoy) and contributing 10.2 percent. Transport prices showed modest inflation in March (2.1 percent).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At its March 17, 2026 meeting, the Board of the Central Bank of Armenia decided to keep the policy rate unchanged at 6.5 percent<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Armstat, 12-month inflation in the Armenian consumer market in March of this year amounted to 4.5%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Armenia&#8217;s 2026 state budget projects inflation at 3% (\u00b11%).
