YEREVAN, May 13. \/ARKA\/. ARKA news agency publishes a ranking of the most profitable credit institutions in Armenia for the first quarter of 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The total net profit (after tax) of Armenia’s credit institutions for the first quarter of 2026 amounted to 8.44 billion drams, compared to 18.44 billion drams in the first quarter of 2025 (a 2.18-fold, or 54.2%, decline).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A number of credit institutions ended the reporting period with a loss, which affected the dynamics of the aggregate indicator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the ARKA ranking, Bnakaran Yeritasardnerin was the most profitable credit institution for the period from January to March 2026. The company’s net profit amounted to 3.02 billion drams, compared to 2.07 billion drams for January-March 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ACBA-Leasing ranks second with a profit of 1.60 billion drams (compared to 1.32 billion for the same period last year).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aregak ranks third, with a profit of 981.5 drams in the first quarter of 2026, compared to 1 billion drams a year earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
National Mortgage ranks fourth, with a profit of 906.7 million drams (compared to 756.3 million drams).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Global Credit rounds out the top five with a net profit of 893.9 drams (compared to 579.1 million drams).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
