YEREVAN, May 18. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Acba Bank and the Armenian Association “For Humanity and Nature” (FPAN) are launching the “Organic Agriculture Development” program for 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program is funded by Acba Bank and the German Nature Conservation Union (NABU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal of the program is to promote the development of organic agriculture in Armenia by creating opportunities for businesses to undergo the organic certification process, obtain certification, and develop production and export potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organizations, farmers, and agricultural producers selected through the competition will receive combined financial and technical support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who can apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Businesses engaged in organic production;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Businesses planning to transition to organic production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Financial support:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Co-financing for organic certification\u2014up to 400,000 drams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The remaining portion of the total certification cost is covered by the beneficiary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applications are accepted until June 15, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Organic Agriculture Development program was launched in 2015 as part of a collaboration between Acba Bank and NABU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2026, the Armenian Association “For Humanity and Nature” (FPAN) has been implementing the program in collaboration with Acba Bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program currently covers over 100 beneficiaries across Armenia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is aligned with four of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zero Hunger (SDG 2);<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production);<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conservation of terrestrial ecosystems (SDG 15: Life on Land);<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Partnerships for Sustainable Development (SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
