The inflow of cross-border transfers to individuals in Armenia, received from abroad through the Armenian banking system, amounted to $2.08 billion in the first four months of this year, compared to $1.77 billion in the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The leading countries for transfers to Armenia were Russia with $1.32 billion and the United States with $269.6 million. Furthermore, Russia and the United States also led transfers to Armenia in the 2025 reporting period ($1.15 billion and $210.3 million, respectively).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, the outflow of transfers from individuals from Armenia abroad through the Armenian banking system amounted to $1.35 billion in January-April 2026, compared to $1.5 billion in the same period of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The United States ($247.7 million) and the UAE ($173.2 million) led transfers from Armenia abroad in the reporting months.
