{"id":276079,"date":"2026-07-09T15:02:17","date_gmt":"2026-07-09T11:02:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/?p=276079"},"modified":"2026-07-09T15:02:30","modified_gmt":"2026-07-09T11:02:30","slug":"members-of-the-armenian-health-insurance-system-will-be-able-to-receive-bonuses-for-a-healthy-lifestyle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2026\/07\/09\/276079\/","title":{"rendered":"Members of the Armenian health insurance system will be able to receive bonuses for a healthy lifestyle"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>YEREVAN, July 9. \/ARK\u0410\/. <\/strong>At a meeting on Thursday, the Armenian government approved the procedure for accruing bonus points within the universal health insurance system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First Deputy Minister of Health of Armenia Lena Nanushyan announced that the procedure will come into force on January 1, 2029. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to her, the decision will allow for the development of electronic tools and other necessary preparatory work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The law stipulates that, to encourage a healthy lifestyle, insured persons are awarded bonus points if no insurance compensation has been registered for them within a year, with the exception of preventive services, such as screenings. In this case, preliminary bonus points are transferred to the citizen&#8217;s bonus account at the end of the year,&#8221; Nanushyan said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to her, additional indicators related to public health are also included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;For example, if an insured person is a voluntary blood donor and demonstrates improved healthy lifestyle indicators\u2014normalizing their body mass index, quitting smoking\u2014then additional coefficients are applied to the bonuses,&#8221; she noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nanushyan stated that the final bonus points will not exceed 10% of the annual insurance premium.
