September 28. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Retained earnings of the banks of Armenia in January-July 2011 were about 19.6 billion drams increased by 39.7% compared to the same period of 2010, states the official site of the Central Bank of Armenia.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, total assets of the banking system of Armenia in July increased by 0.4% compared to June making over 1 766 billion drams. Total liabilities of the banks were increased by 0.5% in July, making over 1 426.3 billion drams.<\/p>\n<p>Total balance capital of the banking system of Armenia remained on the same level \u2013 339.7 billion drams.<\/p>\n<p>As of July 31, 201, there were 21 commercial banks in Armenia.
