Armenian commercial banks sold a total of $86.7 million at the local foreign currency market September 26-30 at the average exchange rate of 370.67 drams per one US Dollar, the Central Bank of Armenia said to ARKA.<\/p>\n<p>It said they also bought some $96.3 million at the average exchange rate of 372.01 drams per one US Dollar.<\/p>\n<p>The aggregate amount of transactions effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange in U.S. dollars amounted to $9.075 million at the average weighted exchange rate of 370.22 drams per one USD. In the same time span the banks bought and sold a total of $1.75 million at the local inter-bank market at the average exchange rate of 370.22 Drams per $1.<\/p>\n<p>Besides, the banks provided September 19-25 some 24 billion drams worth loans in Armenia\u2019s national currency and $29.4 million worth loans in U.S. dollars.
