YEREVAN, August 7. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>Equity market capitalization exceeded 426 billion drams in July 2026, the press service of the Armenia Securities Exchange (AMX) reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was noted that the volume of stock trading during the reporting month amounted to over 207.4 million drams. 250 transactions were concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bonds<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The total volume of government bond auctions on the AMX primary market in July exceeded 87.1 billion drams. In the secondary market, 70 transactions were concluded for a total of over 25.8 billion drams, a 759% increase compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In July, trading volume in the corporate bond market increased by 118% compared to the same period last year, reaching over 16.5 billion drams. During the reporting period, 1,798 transactions were concluded involving 208 corporate bonds traded on the exchange at the end of July. A corporate bond auction was held during the reporting month, with a total volume exceeding 2.3 billion drams. “This stable growth reflects healthy demand for corporate bonds,” the statement reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Repo Transactions
The total volume of repo transactions exceeded 32.1 billion drams. In July, 218 repo transactions were concluded, exceeding the same period last year by 548%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Foreign Exchange<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In June, over 779.2 million drams worth of US dollar conversions were completed in six transactions on the AMX foreign exchange platform. During the month, the exchange rate fluctuated between 367 and 367.9 drams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
