YEREVAN, August 18. \/ARKA\/. The range of companies listed on the Armenia Stock Exchange (AMX) continues to expand, contributing to the development of the capital market and creating new opportunities for businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, \u201cSolis\u201d CJSC, a renewable energy company owned by the EU-Armenia SME Fund, managed by Amber Capital, is entering the capital market. The company\u2019s core business is the sale of electricity generated by photovoltaic solar power plants. \u201cSolis\u201d CJSC\u2019s presence in the capital market will further strengthen the connection between Armenia\u2019s renewable energy sector and its financial market. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A traditional \u201cbell ringing\u201d ceremony at the Armenia Stock Exchange (AMX) officially marked \u201cSolis\u201d CJSC\u2019s entry into the capital market, signaling a new milestone in the company\u2019s growth and development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting from August 18, investors will be able to buy and sell \u201cSolis\u201d CJSC bonds on the exchange through the banks or investment companies that are members of the exchange<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSolis\u201d CJSC\u2019s bonds, with a total nominal value of 2,000,000 USD will be included in the primary Abond list of the Armenia Stock Exchange. A total of 20,000 bonds, each with a nominal value of 100 USD and offering an 8% annual yield, will be listed, with a 48-month circulation period. These bonds will also be available for targeted trading. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bond placement was carried out by Ameriabank between June 4 and June 29, 2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CEO of the Armenia Stock Exchange, Hayk Yeganyan, stated: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSolis\u2019s entry into the capital market represents a significant step not only for the company\u2019s future development, but also for sectoral diversification within the capital market. This listing makes a new sector and investment opportunity accessible to investors, while the Exchange continues to expand the range of companies choosing transparent capital market instruments to support their growth, contributing to the sustainable development of the country\u2019s financial system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are confident that Solis\u2019s listing will not only support the company\u2019s further growth, but also serve as an example for other businesses, encouraging greater interest in the capital market and contributing to a more active investment environment.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe issuance of \u201cSolis\u201d bonds is an important event for diversification of Armenia\u2019s capital market and the creation of new investment opportunities, as the solar energy generation sector is still insufficiently represented in the capital market. The sector is characterized by stable and predictable cash flows and is particularly attractive for the fixed-income instruments market. We believe that demand for Solis bonds will also be strong in the secondary market, especially among investors seeking lower-risk investment opportunities,\u201d noted- Shushanik Hovsepyan, Head of Capital Markets at Ameriabank. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSolis\u201d CJSC\u2019s solar power plants are located across different regions of Armenia, creating a geographically balanced portfolio and contributing to the generation of sustainable, clean energy across the country. The company\u2019s activities are focused on strengthening Armenia\u2019s energy security through institutional oversight, professional management, and a long-term investment approach. By applying modern technologies and advanced equipment, the company develops, manages, and operates solar power plants over the long term, ensuring efficient, reliable, and environmentally friendly electricity generation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approximately 75% of the funds raised through the bond placement will be allocated to refinancing existing loans, while the remaining 25% will be directed toward capital expenditures and business expansion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
