This is according to data from the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Loans issued to residents amounted to 8.46 trillion drams at the end of July, compared to 8.35 trillion drams at the end of June. Resident loans in drams amounted to 5.73 trillion drams, compared to 5.63 trillion drams a month earlier, and foreign currency loans amounted to 2.73 trillion drams, compared to 2.72 trillion drams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The volume of loans issued by commercial banks to non-residents at the end of July amounted to 441.1 billion drams, compared to 427.7 billion drams in June. The volume of dram-denominated loans to non-residents amounted to 74.2 billion drams, compared to 73.4 billion drams the previous month, while the volume of foreign currency loans amounted to 366.9 billion drams, compared to 354.3 billion drams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The volume of loans issued by credit institutions at the end of the seventh month of this year amounted to 451.1 billion drams, compared to 448 billion drams at the end of June. Non-residents received 28.4 billion drams in loans, compared to 31.6 billion drams the previous month, while loans to residents amounted to 422.7 billion drams, compared to 416.4 billion drams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In July, the commercial bank lending rate was 12.51%, down from 13.18% in June. The Central Bank&#8217;s repo rate was 6.50%, unchanged for the month.
