The program is a joint initiative of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands, titled &#8220;Strengthening Financial Resilience.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Central Bank chief noted that the third phase of the financial education program currently being developed in Armenia places special emphasis on experimentation, behavioral approaches, and outcome assessment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For his part, Miles Larbey, Head of the OECD\u2019s Financial Consumer Protection, Education and Inclusion Unit, noted that the meeting\u2014bringing together representatives from Armenia and ten other countries in the region\u2014reflects a shared commitment to developing financial education policies and strengthening regional cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Angelique van Haasteren, a coordinator from the Dutch Ministry of Finance, stated that financial resilience entails the ability to effectively manage day-to-day finances, withstand economic shocks, continue progressing toward long-term goals, and maintain confidence and control over one&#8217;s own finances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anna Babajanyan, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia, emphasized the importance of cooperation among government bodies, the Central Bank, the education system, the private sector, and other partners. She also presented Armenia&#8217;s experience in integrating financial education into the school system. The meeting will continue for another two days.
