Wempi Saputra has served as ADB Vice President for Sectors and Themes since September 1, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Asian Development Bank has been working with Armenia since 2005 and is one of the country&#8217;s largest multilateral development partners. According to ADB, as of end-2025, the bank&#8217;s total commitments under 79 public loans, grants, and technical assistance projects in Armenia amounted to $2.1 billion. The active public loan portfolio included eight loans worth $1.03 billion. Total disbursements through loans and grants to the public and private sectors reached $1.74 billion. The bank finances projects in transport, urban infrastructure, energy, education, and private sector development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On May 27, 2026, ADB signed an agreement with Ameriabank for a $100 million loan to finance small and medium-sized businesses and environmentally sustainable projects.
