{"id":28491,"date":"2011-10-20T11:40:29","date_gmt":"2011-10-20T11:40:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2011\/10\/20\/233960\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:53:21","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:53:21","slug":"central-bank-of-armenia-issues-6-silver-commemorative-coins","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2011\/10\/20\/28491\/","title":{"rendered":"Central Bank of Armenia issues 6 silver commemorative coins"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, October 20. \/ ARKA \/.<\/strong> The Central Bank of Armenia said today it has issued 6 silver commemorative coins as part of an international numismatic program &#8220;Khachkars (cross-stones) of Armenia.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The press service of the Central Bank said the coins are called &#8220;Khachkar of Kecharis&#8221;, &#8220;Khachkar of Sanahin&#8221;, &#8220;Khachkar of Goshavank&#8221;, &#8220;Khachkar of Gndevank&#8221;, &#8220;Khachkar of Echmiadzin&#8221; and &#8220;Khachkar of Noravank.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It has issued 2,500 coins for each type with a nominal value of AMD 1,000. Coins are made of high-quality silver. The size of a coin is 27&#215;47 mm, weighing 25 grams. The coins were coined by Liechtenstein Coin Invest Trust.
