In terms of inflation rise Armenia ranked ninth among other former Soviet republics.<\/p>\n<p>According to CIS Statistical Committee, consumer prices in CIS rose year-on-year by 7.5%.<\/p>\n<p>It said consumer prices in 2011 September in Armenia increased by 0.8% from August. According to the official data, the highest inflation of 74.5% was posted by Belarus, which was followed by Tajikistan with a year-on-year 9% inflation, Kazakhstan saw a 6.2% inflation, in Moldova it rose by 5.2%, in Russia by 4.7%, in Kyrgyzstan by 4.4%, in Ukraine by 4.2% and in Azerbaijan by 3.5%.
