YEREVAN, November 23, \/ARKA\/. An Armenian company, \u201cByurakn\u201d, has been recognised as overall winner under the \u201cChairman\u2019s Selection\u201d category of the European Business Awards, which were sponsored by HSBC for the second year, hsbc Bank Armenia said today in a press release.<\/div>\n
It said during a gala presentation ceremony that took place in Barcelona last night, heads of state, leading industrialists, entrepreneurs, business leaders, media owners and academics from across 30 European nations gathered for the announcement of this year\u2019s 11 award winners.<\/div>\n
In 28 July Byurakn LLC along with AUM LTD amd Manana Grain LLC was selected to receive a \u2018Ruban d\u2019Honneur\u2019 prize, enabling them to join 111 businesses from over 30 countries to compete in the final round of the competition in Barcelona, and the chance to win an award in one of 11 categories.<\/div>\n
Astrid Clifford, HSBC Bank Armenia Chief Executive Officer commented: \u201cI am delighted that one of our customers has received this highest accolade in one of Europe\u2019s toughest business competitions. Hopefully, this will encourage Armenian businesses to deepen their relations with Europe\u201d.<\/div>\n
