YEREVAN, November 26. \/ARKA\/. Number of existing contracts of mandatory car insurance provided by the company \u201cINGO Armenia\u201d as of the end of October exceeds 67 thousand, said first Deputy of Executive Director of the insurance company \u201cINGO Armenia\u201d Arevshat Meliksetyan.

\n\u201cThis year our company opened representation offices in all the regions of the country, where service of clients and the process of client service in the issues of payment of compensations is implemented\u201d, he said on Friday to the journalists.

\nMeliksetyan said that in accordance with the internal regulation, the team of insurers should go to the place of accident not later than two and a half minutes after receiving a call about the car accident.

\n\u201cWe can not be responsible for the arrival on the place of car accident as it does not depend on us\u201d, he said, clarifying that according to the law, if the insurer does not fit within the defined period of arrival, he is obliged to operate by the facts which the client provides him.

\nMeliksetyan said that today the number of insurance agents exceeds 1400 people who work in the whole territory of Armenia.

\nPermanent work is conducted with the clients as individually, as well as in the form of training courses. There is also a system of financial encouragements \u201cwhich provides loyalty of our agents towards us\u201d.

\n\u201cINGO Armenia\u201d was established in 1997 as Closed Joint Stock Insurance Company \u201cEfes\u201d. In December 2003, 75% of shares of the company was obtained by the Russian company \u201cINGOSSTRAKH\u201d after which it was renamed \u201cINGO Armenia\u201d. Levon Altunyan (Armenia) is the shareholder of 25% of shares. Charter capital of the company is 750.9 million drams.

\nAccording to the data of the company, in January-September 2011 the volume of insurance premiums of the company was 4 billion drams, and the number of compensations \u2013 1 billion drams. Volume of insurance premiums collected by mandatory car insurance was 2.2 billion drams in the reporting period and compensations – 633 million drams.
