YEREVAN, December 13. \/ARKA\/. Armenia\u2019s Converse Bank has embarked on \u201cBe Santa Claus!\u201d charity campaign for children from Mari Izmirlian children\u2019s home.<\/div>\n
This is the second time the bank runs such a campaign.<\/div>\n
The bank put boxes in its head office and Central, Sayat-Nova, Araratyan and Moskovyan offices in Yerevan for raising money.<\/div>\n
Upon completing the money raising the bank will double the raised donations.<\/div>\n
There is account 19300 36912207200 in the bank for donations for Mari Izmirlian children\u2019s home.<\/div>\n
According to the press release, the bank will purchase household devises, carpets and other necessary facilities for the children\u2019s home.<\/div>\n
In 2010, every child got an individual present under this campaign.<\/div>\n
\u201cAfter the completion of the campaign this children\u2019s home will hold a New-Year party, and the bank\u2019s employees can attend it,\u201d the press release says.<\/div>\n
Converse Bank was registered on December 20, 1993.<\/div>\n
In February 2007, Eduardo Eurnekian, Argentine entrepreneur of Armenian descent, bought 95% of the bank\u2019s shares. The remaining 5% belong to Armenian Apostolic Church. -0–<\/div>\n
