{"id":32672,"date":"2012-01-31T11:19:58","date_gmt":"2012-01-31T11:19:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2012\/01\/31\/234680\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:55:01","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:55:01","slug":"areximbank-gazprombank-group-joins-blizko-remittances-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2012\/01\/31\/32672\/","title":{"rendered":"Areximbank-Gazprombank Group joins Blizko remittances system"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, January 31, \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> The Russian-owned Areximbank-Gazprombank Group said today it has joined Blizko international\u00a0system\u00a0of instant money transfers for individuals without\u00a0account opening.<\/p>\n<p>Blizko offers instant money transfers\u00a0between the CIS and\u00a0several\u00a0other countries.\u00a0Transfers are made in U.S. dollars,\u00a0euros\u00a0and\u00a0Russian rubles.\u00a0 The bank said in a press release that it offers also international money\u00a0transfers via\u00a0Bystraya Pochta, MIGOM, CONTACT\u00a0and\u00a0MONEYGRAM systems.<\/p>\n<p>In 2011,\u00a0Areximbank-Gazprombank Group\u00a0handled a total of 272.5 billion drams worth money transfers, including $5\u00a0billion drams\u00a0transfers without account opening and\u00a0267.5 billion drams via SWIFT system.<\/p>\n<p>Areximbank-Gazprombank Group (formerly Areximbank) was established in 1998 to handle financial flows between Armenia and Russia. It is a principled member of VISA International and MasterCard International payment systems. In 2007 it joined Armenian ArCa payment system. The bank is owned fully by Russian Gazprombank.<\/p>\n<p>According to ARKA\u2019s data, as of December 31, 2011 the bank\u2019s assets grew to 95.9 billion drams, liabilities to over 80.1 billion drams, the total capital stood at over 15. billion drams, the charter capital was 12.3 billion drams, the outstanding credit portfolio rose to 74.7 billion drams.
