YEREVAN, February 14. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia\u2019s RESO insurance company has already concluded several dozen of contracts to provide medical insurance as part of a new social package, the company\u2019s press office told ARKA News Agency on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

According to the press release, the first person insured under this package was an employee of the territorial administration ministry\u2019s water economy committee.<\/p>\n

Contracts were signed in Yerevan and provinces.<\/p>\n

This package\u2019s insurance services are intended for governing institutions and state-owned companies\u2019 personnel as well as educational cultural and social security establishments\u2019 employees.<\/p>\n

The basic package of medical insurance is bought on the government-provided checks worth AMD 52,000 drams.<\/p>\n

Every buyer of RESO company\u2019s basic package receives coverage \u201cMy Medical Center\u201d, which provides additional services to policy-holders.<\/p>\n

In particular, policy-holders can choose a medical center among medical establishments in Yerevan and provinces, where medical examinations will be available to them at any time throughout the entire year.<\/p>\n

They also can be examined by other centers\u2019 specialists on their medical centers\u2019 referrals.<\/p>\n

RESO CJSC was registered as UniRESO on November 10, 2008 and renamed RESO on October 10, 2009.<\/p>\n

The company\u2019s shareholders are Polygraphia CJSC (50%) and CIS Equity Partners Limited (50%).<\/p>\n

RESO is a subsidiary of Russia\u2019s RESO-Garantia.<\/p>\n

The company\u2019s authorized capital amounts to AMD 1870 million.<\/p>\n

Its assets totaled over AMD 2.8 billion and liabilities about AMD 1.2 billion in late December 2011.<\/p>\n
