{"id":34207,"date":"2012-03-01T12:52:02","date_gmt":"2012-03-01T12:52:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2012\/03\/01\/234987\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:55:48","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:55:48","slug":"armenian-money-supply-shrinks-2-7-to-amd-1-096-1-trillion-in-january","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2012\/03\/01\/34207\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenian money supply shrinks 2.7% to amd 1.096.1 trillion in January"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, March 1. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenian money supply dropped 2.7 % or 30.9 billion drams, to 1.096.1 trillion drams at the end of January, 2012, from December, National Statistical Service reported ARKA.<\/p>\n<p>Cash volume outside the banking system of Armenia totaled nearly 319 billion drams at January \u2013end against 349.4 billion drams at the end of December, and demand deposits in drams amounted to 154.8 billion drams against 164.4 billion drams from December, according to preliminary data compiled by the Central Bank of Armenia.Time deposits in drams reached over 145.7 billion drams in late January against 145.6 billion drams in late December.<\/p>\n<p>Along with this, deposits in foreign currency accounted to over 476.7 billion drams in January against over 467.5 billion drams in late December. The share of deposits in foreign currencies in the country\u2019s total money supply totalled 43.5% in January.
