{"id":34225,"date":"2012-03-01T14:38:59","date_gmt":"2012-03-01T14:38:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2012\/03\/01\/234989\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:55:48","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:55:48","slug":"3-year-on-year-inflation-in-armenia-in-february-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2012\/03\/01\/34225\/","title":{"rendered":"3% year-on-year inflation in Armenia in February 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, March 1. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>Armenia recorded 3% year-on-year inflation in February 2012, National Statistical Service reports.<\/p>\n<p>According to the statistical report, the inflation was mainly due to 3.7% increase in prices for foods, alcoholic drinks and cigarettes.<\/p>\n<p>Prices for services rose 2.1% in February 2012, compared with the same month a year before.<\/p>\n<p>Year-on-year consumer price index was 103.9% in Jan-Feb 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Index of food, spirits and tobacco prices was 104.5%, nonfood prices 103.6% and services 102.8%.<\/p>\n<p>In February compared with the previous month, consumer price index slipped 0.9%.<\/p>\n<p>Prices for foods, alcoholic drinks and cigarettes went 1.6% and nonfoods 0.2% down, while services prices remained unchanged.<\/p>\n<p>The statistical service says that consumer prices fell 1.2-0.2% in all the countries under review in February, compared with January, with the greatest decrease in the city of Talin.
