{"id":34439,"date":"2012-03-06T13:24:37","date_gmt":"2012-03-06T13:24:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2012\/03\/06\/235025\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:55:53","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:55:53","slug":"armenian-banks-get-over-85-8-mln-in-inter-banking-foreign-currency-market-last-week-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2012\/03\/06\/34439\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenian banks get over $85.8 mln in inter-banking foreign currency market last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, March 6. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>The Armenian banks got nearly $85.8 million by weighted average rate of 388.25 drams for $1 in intra-banking market of foreign currency in Armenia from February 27 to March 2, the Armenian Central Bank\u2019s press service reported ARKA.<\/p>\n<p>In intra-banking market within the same period the banks obtained nearly 5.4 million euros and over 526.8 million rubles at weighted average exchange rate of 518.78 drams per\u00a0 \u20ac1 and 13.2 drams per 1 ruble.At the same time, in intra-banking market of foreign currency there were sold nearly $95.9 million, over \u20ac11 million and about 80.5 million rubles at weighted average exchange rate of 389.23 drams, 522.86 drams and 13.45 drams respectively.According to the press-release, in inter-banking market , USD purchase and sale transactions were implemented in the amount of $650 thousand and 5 million rubles at weighted average exchange rate of 388.82 drams per $1 and 13.4 drams per 1 ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Transactions in euros were not made.Moreover, dram credits allocated by the Armenian banks accounted to 25.1 billion drams, and USD credits- $33.3 million.
