Individual money transfers to Armenia in the first month of 2012 handled by local banks surged by 12% from a year before to almost $75 million, the Central Bank of Armenia said in a report on first\u00a0 month\u2019s indicators.<br \/>\nMoney transfers from Armenia soared by 27.2% to $15.8 million. The net inflow of remittances in January grew thus by 8.5% to $59.2 million. The largest inflow of net money transfers, about $52.175 million, came, as usual, from Russia.
