Car loans extended by Armenian credit organizations totalled AMD 233.1 million in late January 2012.<br \/>\nAccording to the information available on the central bank\u2019s official website, this amount is 1.1% less than the indicator reported in late December.<br \/>\nThe central bank says 98.1% of the car loans extended by credit organizations in January were in drams.<br \/>\nIt means 228.7 million drams were lent for car purchasing \u2013 2.5% month-on-month decline.<br \/>\nConsumer lending exceeded 8.9 billion in late January after growing 1.7% over the month.<br \/>\nArmenia had 32 credit organizations in late January 2012.
