Volume of credit investments of commercial banks of Armenia in January 2012 compared to December 2011 reduced by 0.3% making about 1 247.1 billion drams by the end of January, states the site of National Statistic Service of Armenia.<\/p>\n<p>The largest share of  credit investments are credits provided in foreign currency (61.4%) which is about 765.5 billion drams. This indicator registered decline by 0.3% compared to December.<\/p>\n<p>According to statistical data, the volume of dram credits by the end of January was 481.5 billion drams, reduced by 0.2%.<br \/>\nAs of January  31 in Armenia 21 commercial banks are operating.
