Average interest rate on deposits in Armenia downed 0.1 percentage points  to 8.3 % in February from January, the report published on Armenia\u2019s Central Bank\u2019s website says. According to the data compiled by CB, average interest rate on short-term deposits in Armenian drams lost 1 p.p. in average appearing at 9.5 %, whereas in foreign currency \u2013 advanced 0.4 p.p. in average to 5.8 % in February  from a month earlier.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time average interest rate on long-term deposits in Armenian drams climbed 0.7 p.p. to 10.8 %, while in foreign currency- dropped by 0.8 p.p. to 7 %.
