The assets of Armenia-based 21 commercial banks increased by 0.9% in 2012 February from the previous month to more than 2 021.9 trillion drams, the Central Bank of Armenia said. It said also the banks\u2019 commitments increased in comparison with January by 1.1% to about 1.664.6 trillion drams and their total balance capital rose in February by 0.1% to about 357.4 billion drams.<br \/>\nArmenian banks&#8217; profits in January-February 2012 amounted to over 88.2 billion drams, a 3.2% increase from a year before.
