{"id":36179,"date":"2012-04-19T16:03:39","date_gmt":"2012-04-19T16:03:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2012\/04\/19\/235352\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:56:48","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:56:48","slug":"bank-vtb-armenia-launches-new-atm-geo-location-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2012\/04\/19\/36179\/","title":{"rendered":"BANK VTB (ARMENIA) launches  new atm  geo-location service"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, April 19, \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> The Russian-owned Bank VTB (Armenia) said it has launched a new service (an online map) for geo-location of VTB Group\u2019s ATMs. The service was\u00a0 developed\u00a0 byVTB Group\u2019s processing company Multicarta.<\/p>\n<p>According to a press release of the bank, the online map, which indicates the location of about 7,200 ATMs of VTB Group, is already available for IPhone and Android phones operating\u00a0 Apple Store and Android Market applications.<br \/>\nThe on-line map shows the location and status of nearest ATM, the type of banknotes that can be withdrawn, as well as additional information about other services, such as payment of utilities, card \u2013to-card transfers\u00a0 etc.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is an interactive map that allows customers to get information about the nearest ATM at any time and\u00a0 any place and also show the shortest walking or driving directions to the nearest ATM,\u2019 according to the press release.<br \/>\nTo make use of the new application, customers must run the Google play program on their\u00a0 phones (for Android-phone version) or the AppStore (for iPhone), type in the search menu the word &#8220;VTB&#8221;\u00a0 select the application VTB ATMs and\u00a0 download it on their phones.<\/p>\n<p>VTB Bank (Armenia) is fully owned by Russian VTB.
