YEREVAN, April 25. \/ARKA\/. Armenia-based commercial banks bought over $85 million at local forex market on April 16-20 at an average exchange rate of 392.03 drams per one USD, the Central Bank of Armenia told ARKA. It also bought about 7 million euros at 512.94 drams per one euro and 487.5 million Russian rubles at 13.16 drams per one ruble.<\/p>\n
In the same time span the banks sold $100.6 million, over \u20ac13 million and about 94.1 million rubles
\nat 393.02, 515.95 and 13.37 drams exchange rates respectively. The banks also bought and sold $350,000 at inter-bank forex market at 392.93 drams per one USD. No transactions in euro or rubles were effected. Besides, from April 9 to 15 the banks provided 25.6 billion drams worth loans in Armenian national currency and $46.6 million loans in USD.
