{"id":36448,"date":"2012-04-27T13:45:39","date_gmt":"2012-04-27T13:45:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2012\/04\/27\/235397\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:56:55","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:56:55","slug":"ameriabank-plans-to-build-up-its-corporate-loan-portfolio-up-to-165-billion-drams-in-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2012\/04\/27\/36448\/","title":{"rendered":"Ameriabank plans to build up its corporate loan portfolio up to 165 billion drams in 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, April 27. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>Armenian Ameriabank expects its outstanding corporate loan portfolio to surge this year up to 165 billion drams, Ameriabank Development Director Tigran Jrbashyan said today.<\/p>\n<p>He said last year corporate loan portfolio soared by 50% from the previous year to 115 billion drams.<br \/>\n&#8220;Today we are the leader in terms of corporate lending and hope to maintain our standing,&#8221; he said.<br \/>\nAccording to Jrbashyan, one of the strategic objectives of the bank this year is an increase in lending to small and medium businesses.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We plan to double the amount of lending to SMEs this year up to 30-31 billion drams from 15 billion drams last year,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the bank plans also to increase lending to individual customers by 60 percent.<br \/>\nAccording to ARKA data, last year the lending to individual clients amounted to 22.2 billion, representing 16.23% of the total loan portfolio.<\/p>\n<p>Ameriabank is a universal bank providing investment, corporate and limited retail banking services.
