{"id":36457,"date":"2012-04-27T13:56:12","date_gmt":"2012-04-27T13:56:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2012\/04\/27\/235401\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:56:56","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:56:56","slug":"deposits-in-armenian-commercial-banks-drop-0-9-to-amd-10143-bln-in-march","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2012\/04\/27\/36457\/","title":{"rendered":"Deposits in Armenian commercial banks drop 0.9% to AMD 1014,3 bln in March"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, April 27. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>Deposits in Armenian commercial banks slip by 0.9 % late in March to nearly 1 014,3  billion drams from earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>According to the information available on the Armenian Central Bank\u2019s official website, deposits in drams totaled nearly AMD 328 billion in March  2012 after growing  6.2 %, compared with December 2011, and deposits in foreign currencies tumbled by 3.9 % to nearly  AMD 686.3 billion within the reported period.<\/p>\n<p>Residents\u2019 deposits jumped by 3.9 p.p. in March of this year from December 2011 to AMD 795.1 billion and accounted for 78.4% of aggregate dram deposits in Armenian banks.<\/p>\n<p>As of March 31, 2012, there are 21 commercial banks in Armenia.
