It said about 95.5% of all savings deposits (313.2 billion drams) were owned by residents. According to the statement, 45.7% or 150 billion drams were demand deposits, by 21.6% more than in 2011 March.<\/p>\n<p>Time deposits accounted for 48.8% of residents\u2019 savings deposits standing at the end of March at more than 163.1 billion drams. The figure represented a 75% increase from a year earlier. The amount of savings deposits in foreign currency during the reporting period of time increased by 13.7% to about 686.3 billion drams.
