{"id":36957,"date":"2012-05-16T08:14:12","date_gmt":"2012-05-16T08:14:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2012\/05\/16\/235528\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:57:19","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:57:19","slug":"commercial-banks-invested-amd-159-6-bln-in-government-bonds-in-march-up-by-0-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2012\/05\/16\/36957\/","title":{"rendered":"Commercial banks invested AMD 159.6 bln in Government bonds in March, up by 0.1%"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, May 16. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>Armenian banks invested nearly 159.6 billion drams in government bonds in late March of 2012, up 0.1 % from  February.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report \u201cSummary of monetary-credit indicators in March 2012\u201d made by the Central Bank of Armenia, Armenia\u2019s residents allocated over  212.9 billion drams to government bonds ( increase by 2.1% from the previous month).<\/p>\n<p>The investments by the banks made up 74.8% of the  total amount of the government short-term bonds. Of this the share of the Central Bank reached 13.5%, and non-banking bodies, dealers and investors- 11.5%.<\/p>\n<p>According to the source, total investments in government short-term bonds as of March 31 advanced 2.1% to nearly 213.2 billion drams from February.
