The bank said in a press release that individual savings deposits increased by 13 percent or 2.5 billion drams.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Thanks to an advertising campaign to promote a deposit called \u2018Convertible&#8221; the bank recorded a significant increase in the total amount of  its deposit portfolio, even after the bank decided in March to lower the interest rate on USD deposits,&#8221; Stepan Arzumanian, deputy head of analysis and risk evaluation division of the bank, was quoted as saying. According to him, the growth was generated also by other deposit products.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Over the past year, the deposit portfolio of the bank increased by 6.4 billion drams or 42.5%,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Bank Anelik was created in 1990. Its shareholders are CreditBank SALs (69.5%), Samvel Chzmachyan \u2013 (12.25%), Galina Voronina- 12.25% and Armen Kazarian &#8211; 6%.
