{"id":37973,"date":"2012-06-14T11:19:16","date_gmt":"2012-06-14T11:19:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2012\/06\/14\/235745\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:57:54","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:57:54","slug":"armenian-banks-investments-in-securities-at-the-end-of-april-2012-stood-at-over-142-5-billion-drams","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2012\/06\/14\/37973\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenian banks\u2019 investments in securities at the end of April 2012 stood at over 142.5 billion drams"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, June 14, \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>Armenian banks\u2019 investments in securities (government bonds) at the end of April 2012 stood at over 142.5  billion drams, by 10.7% less than in the previous month of March,  according to a Central Bank report on aggregated money and credit indicators for April.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, as of April 30, Armenian residents investments in government bonds stood at about 212.6 billion drams, a 1.5% increase from the previous month.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, the banks accounted for 65.9% of all investments in government bonds. The share of Central Bank\u2019s investment in State Treasury Bonds (STB) amounted to about 22.7%, and that of non-bank agents, dealers and investors to 11.3%.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, total (residents and nonresidents) investments in STB AS OF April 30 stood at  about 216.2 billion drams, which was 1.5% more than  in March .
