{"id":38497,"date":"2012-06-26T08:52:11","date_gmt":"2012-06-26T08:52:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2012\/06\/26\/235855\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:58:09","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:58:09","slug":"banks-assets-gdp-ratio-reports-54-1-in-armenia-last-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2012\/06\/26\/38497\/","title":{"rendered":"Banks\u2019 assets\/ GDP ratio reports 54.1% in Armenia last year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, June 26. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> The ratio of banking assets to GDP of Armenia was  54.1% as of 2011 against 44.5% in 2010, according to the data published on Armenian Central Bank\u2019s website.<br \/>\nThe ratio of credit  investments of Armenian banks to the GDP was 33.3% in 2011 versus 27.1% in 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Total assets of the Armenian banking system valued at  2066,7 billion drams rising by 182,6 billion drams or 9.7% in the fourth quarter late in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Total credit investments of Armenian banks, including deposits, factoring and leasing, fetched up over 1 294 billion drams as of late 2011, up by 9.1% in the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n<p>As of December 31 of 2012 there are 21 commercial banks in Armenia.
