YEREVAN, July 11, \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>The total amount of household bank accounts in foreign currencies increased by 4 percent in May as opposed to April to 373.8 billion drams, according to a statement on the official website of the Central Bank of Armenia.<\/p>\n

It said time deposits in foreign currencies stood at 310.02 billion drams as of late May, making 83 percent of all savings deposits, rising by 5.3 percent from April.<\/p>\n

The amount of deposits in Armenian dram saw a 0.2 percent rise from the previous month to 158 billion drams. The total amount of savings deposits kept by 21 commercial banks stood at 1.044 trillion drams, rising by 1.1 percent from April.
