{"id":39185,"date":"2012-07-14T15:31:02","date_gmt":"2012-07-14T15:31:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2012\/07\/14\/236005\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:58:31","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:58:31","slug":"number-of-remittances-handled-via-anelik-money-transfer-system-grows-34-in-1st-h-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2012\/07\/14\/39185\/","title":{"rendered":"Number of remittances handled via Anelik money transfer system grows 34% in 1st h 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, June 14. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>The number of remittances handled via Anelik money transfer system grew 34% in the first half of this year, compared with the same period a year earlier, to 835,000, Anelik Bank\u2019s press office reported today.<\/p>\n<p>They amounted to $450 million, almost as much as in the first half of 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Armen Arevyan, chief of Anelik Bank\u2019s marketing and public relation unit, said Anelik system, one of leading money transfer systems, offers affordable costs for transferring money to CIS countries.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the commission for remitting Russian rubles is between 0.5 and 0.9% of the transferred sum. Remittances in other currencies are very affordable as well, if they   under Anelik Super tariff classification.<\/p>\n<p>Anelik Bank was established on July 9, 1990, and registered on October 1, 1991.<\/p>\n<p>In October 1996, the bank received its license from the Central Bank of Armenia.<\/p>\n<p>CreditBank S.A.L. holds 69.5% of the bank\u2019s shares and 12.25% belong to Samvel Chzmachyan, another 12.25% to Galina Voronina and the remaining 6% to Armen Ghazaryan.<\/p>\n<p>In 1997, the bank established own payment system, Anelik, which operates in its 63,000 outlets.
