{"id":40786,"date":"2012-08-29T10:16:25","date_gmt":"2012-08-29T10:16:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2012\/08\/29\/236278\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:59:16","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:59:16","slug":"anelik-bank-launches-new-express-student-loans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2012\/08\/29\/40786\/","title":{"rendered":"Anelik Bank launches new Express student loans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, August 29. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Anelik Bank announced Wednesday on launching\u00a0 new Express student loans.<br \/>\nAccording to the source, the loan is given within 24 hours, as well as offers an annual interest rate of 16.25%.<\/p>\n<p>The borrowers can get a 14 % discount from the annual interest rate on the next loan if no delays are recorded in the course of repayment of the previous loan.<br \/>\n\u201cThe Armenian market doesn\u2019t have such interest rates as of now,\u201d the bank said.<br \/>\nAnother advantage of the new loan is that its upper limit amounts to the student\u2019s tuition fee\u00a0 per\u00a0 one academic year.<\/p>\n<p>Any student above 18 may apply for the loan as a borrower; otherwise any member of the student\u2019s family may apply.<br \/>\nAnelik Bank will require just one guarantor.<br \/>\nLending Department Deputy Head at the Bank Artur Asatryan said the bank will be able to allocate 400 student loans in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, in 2011 the bank distributed 300 student loans. \u201cIt is a satisfactory result if we take into account the customer creditworthiness, and the fact of being new at student lending,\u201d he added.<br \/>\nAsatryan also said that offering so many privileges the loan will be popular with the borrowers.<br \/>\n\u201cAs the motto of this banking instrument is \u201cEducation is a base for welfare,\u201d we hope to raise the access to\u00a0 education,\u201d he clarified.<\/p>\n<p>Anelik Bank was established on August 1, 1990 by light industry enterprises and organizations as Anelik commercial bank.In 1996 it was reorganized and operated as OJSC Anelik Bank till 2007. Currently it is functioning as CJSC Anelik Bank.
