{"id":40925,"date":"2012-08-31T15:50:57","date_gmt":"2012-08-31T15:50:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2012\/08\/31\/236304\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:59:19","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:59:19","slug":"gazprombanks-investments-in-armenian-economy-total-185-million","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2012\/08\/31\/40925\/","title":{"rendered":"Gazprombank\u2019s investments in Armenian economy total $185 million"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, August 31. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Gazprombank\u2019s investments in the Armenian economy total $185 million, Areximbank-Gasprombank Group Board Chairman Nikolay Korenev said in Yerevan on Friday at the new office opening ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>He said $100 million of this amount had been invested in development of Areximbank, and $85 million directly in ArmRosgasprom.<\/p>\n<p>Gazprombank has been building up Areximbank-Gasprombank Group\u2019s capital since it started operating in Armenia in 2007 and stepping up cooperation with local companies.<br \/>\n\u201cWe will continue this work, we will keep supporting the bank, but along with that, we hope that the bank\u2019s administration and staff will intensify their efforts and will be more steadfast in putting shareholders\u2019 decisions in practice,\u201d Korenev said.<\/p>\n<p>Alexander Muranov, deputy chairman of Gazprombank\u2019s board, on his side, said that the bank plans to take part in large local transport, railway, energy and defense infrastructural projects.<br \/>\nAreximbank-Gazprombank Group (formerly Areximbank) was established in 1998 to handle financial flows between Russia and Armenia.
