According to a monthly study of Armenia\u2019s largest tax payers conducted by the State Revenue Committee, the country\u2019s 325 largest companies paid 14.9 billion Drams of taxes in September 2009, by 2.1 billion Drams less than in 2008 September.<\/p>\n<p>According to the study, the 325 biggest companies accounted for 48.5% of all taxes paid in 2009 September.<\/p>\n<p>ArmRosGazporm (ARG) Russian-Armenian joint venture, K-Telecom, the Hrazdan Energy Company and the Canadian-Armenian Grant Tobacco paid 3.8 billion Drams less taxes than a year ago.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Armenian tax authorities carried out 72 inspections in September revealing 2.4 billion Drams of unpaid taxes.
