Armenia\u2019s monetary base in August jumped by over 3.5 billion drams or 0.6 percent from the previous month to about 604.6 billion drams, according to the numbers, released today by the National Statistical Service (ArmStat).\u00a0 It said also cash outside the Central Bank of Armenia totaled nearly 400.6 billion drams in late August versus\u00a0 396.7 billion drams as of late July.<\/p>\n<p>Mandatory reserves in drams stood at over 466 billion drams against 153.7 billion drams from late July; mandatory reserves in foreign currency reached over 48.1 billion drams versus 39.5 billion drams.<\/p>\n<p>Net international reserves (without privatization funds) in late August amounted to around 384.4 billion drams, growing by 3.6 % from July.
