Ameriabank intends to enlarge its loan portfolio to AMD 180 billion this year, Gevorg Tarumyan, financial director of the bank, said answering ARKA News Agency\u2019s question at a news conference on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow the loan portfolio amounts to AMD 154 billion and we expect it to grow about 20% before the end of this year,\u201d he said adding that it depends on the market and developments in the economy.<br \/>\n\u201cSmall and mid-scale businesses remain among our strategic focuses,\u201d he said.<br \/>\nAmeriabank CJSC is a universal bank providing investment, corporate and retail banking services in a package.<\/p>\n<p>Ameriabank is the first investment bank in Armenia. It started providing a wide range of innovative banking services in 2007. The bank has nine branches in Yerevan, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, Kajaran, Dilijan and Vanadzor.
