{"id":42873,"date":"2012-10-26T10:50:18","date_gmt":"2012-10-26T10:50:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2012\/10\/26\/236656\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:00:14","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:00:14","slug":"foreign-currency-household-deposits-409-1-bln-drams-in-armenia-by-end-august","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2012\/10\/26\/42873\/","title":{"rendered":"Foreign currency household deposits 409.1 bln drams in Armenia by end August"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, October 26. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>Foreign currency household deposits in Armenian commercial banks totaled 409.1bln drams by the end of August 2012, the website of Armenia\u2019s Central Bank reports.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, it is a 3.2 percent increase as compared with the month before.<\/p>\n<p>Foreign currency time deposits by households were more than 341 bln drams by the end of August or about 83.3% of the overall foreign currency household deposits, a 4.3% increase compared to July.<\/p>\n<p>Local currency household deposits were about 172.5bln drams in Armenia by the end of August, a 3.6% increase against the previous month.<\/p>\n<p>Overall deposits in commercial banks were more than 1,123.3bln drams by August 31, which is a 4% increase against July.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty-one commercial banks were registered in Armenia by the end of August 2012.
