Also, the Armenian jewelers are efficiently working at China\u2019s markets, Hong Kong, and, of course, the USA. As to the European market, it is in a deep crisis now, and we don\u2019t have big plans with  it,\u201d Gevorgyan said at \u201cProspects for Armenian jewelry development\u201d conference in Yerevan.<\/p>\n<p>Many jewelers, according to him, who live in the Arabic countries, want to visit Armenia and work here, as the situation at the markets of the Middle East is unstable.<\/p>\n<p>He also said a number of Arabian jewelry companies had been already interested in opening branches in the free economic zone in Armenia. However, he didn\u2019t name these companies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cProspects for Armenian jewelry development\u201d conference is held within the framework of the Second jewelry exhibition, where one can find works of jewelers from 20 countries worldwide, such as Armenian, Russia, the U.S., Thailand, Italy, France, Lebanon and India.<\/p>\n<p>The Armenian Jewelers Association (AJA) was established in 1997. It is one of the first international trade association in Armenia. AJA\u2019s goal is to bring Armenian jewelers together to develop the country&#8217;s jewelry industry. The Association has regional representatives on the west and east coasts of the U.S., Europe, the Middle East and in Armenia.
