{"id":43413,"date":"2012-11-07T12:39:49","date_gmt":"2012-11-07T12:39:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2012\/11\/07\/236769\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:00:32","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:00:32","slug":"foreign-currency-household-deposits-415-6-bln-drams-in-armenia-by-end-september","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2012\/11\/07\/43413\/","title":{"rendered":"Foreign currency household deposits 415.6 bln drams in Armenia by end-September"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, November 7. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>Foreign currency household deposits in Armenian commercial banks totaled in 415.6 bln drams by the end of September 2012, the website of Armenia\u2019s Central Bank reports.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, it is a 1.6 percent increase as compared to the month before.<\/p>\n<p>Foreign currency time deposits by households were over  345.8  bln drams by the end of September or about 83.2% of the overall foreign currency household deposits, a 1.43% increase compared to August.<\/p>\n<p>Local currency (AMD) household deposits were about 172.8 bln drams in Armenia by the end of September, a 0.1% increase against the previous month.<\/p>\n<p>Overall deposits in commercial banks were over  1165,1 drams, which is a 3.7% increase against August.<\/p>\n<p>As of 30 September 2012 there are 21 commercial banks in Armenia.
