{"id":43484,"date":"2012-11-08T13:50:41","date_gmt":"2012-11-08T13:50:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2012\/11\/08\/236785\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:00:33","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:00:33","slug":"armenian-dram-deposits-rise-4-3-to-amd-341-9-bln-late-september","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2012\/11\/08\/43484\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenian dram deposits rise 4.3% to AMD 341.9 bln late september"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, November 8. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>Armenian currency, dram, deposits to commercial banks rose by 4.3% to nearly 341.9 billion drams in September from August, according to the data published on Central Bank\u2019s official website.<\/p>\n<p>Residents\u2019 deposits made up about 95% of the total AMD deposits (nearly 325 billion drams), reporting 4.5% from August.<\/p>\n<p>According to the source, 45.3% or over 154.9 billion drams were demand deposits, up by 8.4% from August.<\/p>\n<p>Time deposits of residents made up 49.7% totaling nearly 170 billion drams by late September.<\/p>\n<p>According to the CB, dollarization (ratio of foreign deposits of the residents to the residents\u2019 total deposits) was 63.3% in September against 63.6% in August.<\/p>\n<p>Deposits in foreign currency increased 3.4% to over 823.2 billion drams in September from August.<br \/>\nAs of 30 September 2012 there are 21 commercial banks in Armenia.
