The per employee assets at the end of September 30 were equal  to about 211 million drams or $519,000. As of September 30, all 21 commercial banks operating in Armenia had on their payrolls 10,895 people, while their aggregated income in the third quarter of 2012 amounted to about 29.2 billion drams (about $ 71.8 million).<\/p>\n<p>The largest average profit per employee was boasted by HSBC Bank Armenia \u2013 14.7 million drams ($36,200). In fact, one bank employee secured 4.9 million drams profit a month ($12,000). One employee-managed assets were valued 531 million drams ($130,000), the highest figure among  local banks.<\/p>\n<p>Armswissbank  came in second  with average 11.4 million dram average profit per employee ($28,000). The third  was Bank Mellat \u2013 10.611 million drams ($26,000), or 3.5 million drams per month (about $8,600). Other leaders  were Ameriabank (9.958 million drams or $24,500) and Prometey Bank (6.3 million drams, or about $15,500). Overall, 17 banks reported  more than 1 million drams per employee profit, and four banks  less than 1 million drams.
