{"id":43847,"date":"2012-11-15T11:53:04","date_gmt":"2012-11-15T11:53:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2012\/11\/15\/236865\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:00:45","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:00:45","slug":"armenian-banks-3q-investment-portfolio-hikes-6-5-to-amd-162-4-bln","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2012\/11\/15\/43847\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenian banks\u2019 3Q investment portfolio hikes 6.5% to AMD 162.4 bln"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, November 15. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>Investment portfolio of Armenia\u2019s commercial banks rose 6.5% to 162.4 billion drams in the third quarter from a quarter earlier.<\/p>\n<p>According to the interim financial reports of the bank, sales investments had the highest share in their investment portfolio- 76.3% or over 123.9 billion drams.<\/p>\n<p>Financial investments for commercial purposes were nearly 16.3 billion drams or 10% of the total investments. The loans, which were not used before the end of the maturity period, totaled 13.44% or over 21.9 billion drams of all investments.<\/p>\n<p>The share of investments in the total equity of the controlled entities  totaled 0.2% or 349 million drams, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>Leader in investment portfolio volume is HSBC Bank Armenia (31.4 billion drams). The second is Armbusinessbank \u2013 20 billion drams and Armswissbank- 16.5 billion drams.<\/p>\n<p>As of 30 September 2012 there are 21 commercial banks.
